The City of Springfield will conduct a series of Public Meetings to provide information to the public on the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation’s Recreation Resources Division Parks and Recreation Grant and the City’s plan to apply for this funding. Citizens are encouraged to attend and comment on proposed projects.
There are multiple ways in which the public can participate and provide comment on the proposed project.
1. Attend one of the Public Meetings at The Center (401 N. Main Street)
• Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 5:00 PM.
• Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 5:30 PM.
2. Request a project information packet from Sherry Bryant. Comments should be submitted by Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Ms. Bryant can be reached by calling the Center at (615) 382-1655.
