“During the Free Fishing Rodeo, we discovered that it is possible to have a socially distanced event with precautions in place due to COVID-19,” said Terry Martin, Springfield Parks & Recreation Department Director. “We are thrilled to offer this pandemic-friendly event for families in the community, and thankful for our partner, Walmart of Springfield.”

Movie night attendees are required to wear masks when not seated for the film and to maintain a social distance of six feet from members of other parties. Designated seating areas will be spaced ten feet apart.

Concessions will be available to purchase snacks and refreshments. Guests should bring their own blankets or folding chairs for seating.
